Now THAT is how you tell government off

Texas tells the federal government not to stick its nose where it doesn’t belong.

It’s a good read; not only a well-reasoned piece of legislation that draws upon the United States Constitution in a way that respects the historical context and intent of the relevant Amendments, but written in a style one doesn’t see used too much in the wider world anymore.

That, or I’m just a sucker for documents that use a phrase so eloquent and yet so forceful as “therefore, be it resolved.”
