I often wonder if most science is just a waste of money
Case in point: “The National Institutes of Health has given $423,500 to researchers at Indiana University’s Kinsey Institute to figure out why men don’t like to wear condoms.”
They could just as easily save the money and read the comments at the above-linked Slashdot article; I’m sure they’d get more accurate results from doing so. I suggest cutting the grant to include only the price of a netbook and a one-month plan with a 3G mobile internet USB stick.
