Who is being raised to hate, exactly?
Shaukat Khawja — yes, Rehmat, everyone’s favourite Islamist blogger/Pickering, Ontario nuclear power plant worker/Hezbollah supporter — has a new blog post up asserting that the people of Israel are raised on a diet of vitriolic hatred of Arabs, and in particular of the Palestinians.
Strangely, he cites only a handful of out-of-context soundbites to support his case, and makes no mention at all of the fact that Palestinian children are taught to hate and make war on Israel as a part of their school curriculum.
Not that I’m actually saying I expected this kind of objectivity from him, mind you. I’m simply pointing out that the Palestinian people he so evidently sympathizes with have actually made hatred of their “neighbour,” Israel, a part of the fabric of their tiny “nation,” even to the point that they seek to inculcate the attitude into their youngest schoolchildren.
Whereas Israel does not do this.
But why let facts get in the way of denouncing the Joooooooooooos, right?
