It’s gonna be a long week
And here I thought things were “action packed” in November and December!
Okay, it’s not quite that bad, this time; I’m not currently blogging from 30,000 feet on a connecting flight between Seattle and Salt Lake City. So that’s something. At least I am still in Edmonton.
But by the same token, it’s going to be a busy week. Possibly a busy couple of weeks, depending. I’m presently in a sort of “kickoff” meeting for a massive, rapid-paced design effort for a client, and it’s looking like that design effort will take at least the rest of this week, and possibly most of next week as well.
Which is good, in the sense that it’s work that a) is actually useful and b) rather interesting. But in the sense that it’ll keep me at the office a wee bit too late, so that I won’t be home in time to see Ella before “night night time,” I’m not exactly a fan.

On a completely unrelated note, this post was written with Windows Live Writer. Which is actually pretty decent software, more than I would have expected. The interface is pretty simple, but clean, and the integration with Wordpress is pretty tight (I have full access to my tags database, for example).
If the posting process goes smoothly, I might just make more regular use of it in the future.
