Naturally, I had to grab a screenshot of the site displaying my photo:

You know, it’s strange: the photos I tend to be most proud of tend not to be the photos that elicit this sort of response from people. More often than not, in fact, it’s the photos that I tend to regard as B-grade that people seem to identify with. But then, I suppose that’s a lesson in and of itself: if I have been given any gift for photography, it’s not mine to dictate to others what they see as a beautiful photo. It’s mine only to take what photos I will; people will find meaning in those that they will.

And that’s what’s really cool.
