Entirely too disgusting, and not something I’m keen to post this evening.

One interesting bit of legal trivia, though:
He said that while a man is deemed “responsible for his own actions at 13, for a woman it is 9,” and that it was freeing the 15-year-old girl that “really got me in trouble.
Part of this no doubt stems from the fact that in Iran, “women” (read: girls) are considered to be of marriageable age at 9 years old, which stems from the fact that Muhammed himself took a bride who was but 6 years of age…and then “waited” until she was 9 to consummate the marriage with her (bear in mind that Muhammed himself was…probably in his 60s when this took place).
But I can’t help but think there are other implications to it as well. More later, after I have a bit of a think on the matter.
