All you need to know about Iranian barbarity…

Entirely too disgusting, and not something I’m keen to post this evening.

So just go and read it for yourself. Best not to eat anything beforehand.

One interesting bit of legal trivia, though:

He said that while a man is deemed “responsible for his own actions at 13, for a woman it is 9,” and that it was freeing the 15-year-old girl that “really got me in trouble.

Part of this no doubt stems from the fact that in , “women” (read: girls) are considered to be of marriageable age at 9 years old, which stems from the fact that himself took a bride who was but 6 years of age…and then “waited” until she was 9 to consummate the marriage with her (bear in mind that Muhammed himself was…probably in his 60s when this took place).

But I can’t help but think there are other implications to it as well. More later, after I have a bit of a think on the matter.
