An oldie but goodie:

Leeroy has even featured in a Jeopardy! question.

Thing is, I agree with those analysts who acclaim him as the hero of this piece. Yes, his foolhardy charge — screaming his own name as a battle cry, no less — resulted in his team being wiped out. But as a protest against the epic levels of nerdiness that are planned raids in World of Warcraft, his headlong charge is a masterful act of protest.
