Via Hillary, we are reminded that Obama’s rather plodding speech about sending more troops to Afghanistan pre-empted one of the only Christmas specials that will air this month in which the Nativity narrative from the Gospel of Luke is directly quoted.

(Bonus question: does that make Charlie Brown’s screamed question at the beginning of the below drip delicious tears of irony?)

I’m reminded of something I think Ace said, in a previous…event…of some sort involving Obama and Jesus: You don’t give free advertising to your competition.*

And yes, I know that the Charlie Brown Christmas Special has been rescheduled to next week. That’s not really the point.
