Two new Howard Rotberg books

Howard Rotberg, whom some of you may remember from his dust-up with Chapters a while ago after a Palestinian worker complained about his book The Second Catastrophe, has two new books that he’s recently published.

The first, Exploring Vancouverism: The Political Culture of Canada’s Lotus Land, can be purchased through Canadian Values Press, or through Book Warehouse outlets in Vancouver, or at Duthies.

The second, Tolerism: The Ideology Revealed, can be obtained from Israel’s Bookstore in Toronto, or via Amazon. It ” argues that we have entered an ideology of “Tolerism” – an unhealthy degree of tolerance without limits, and an excessive leniency towards those who represent the most intolerant and illiberal societies.”

And yes, it’s caused no small amount of controversy, given that the most intolerant and illiberal societies tend to be…er…well, let’s just say the Palestinians might know a thing or two about it.
