So yes, posting has declined of late
This thing I have called a “real life” has been busy and busier. Obviously, there was the baby’s birthday just recently, which was a huge effort to prepare for. Likewise, there’s the upcoming trip to Wyoming and Utah — six weeks, basically, broken up into two-week stints — which I’ve been trying to mentally prepare myself for, whilst simultaneously spending as many extra minutes as I can find in a day at home, with Grace and Ella.
So the blog here has kind of taken a back seat to all that. Plus, work has been busier than ever, so what few minutes during a normal day I might have devoted to posting something have instead been consumed with document editing. Busy times, all around!
I’ll make more of an effort in the coming weeks to post content, although even there I’ll be limiting myself somewhat, as I plan to use the month of November for a big writing sprint. If I can find a good “progress bar” plugin for Wordpress, I’ll even post regular updates and comments about my progress in that regard. And if I happen to write something really compelling, I’ll share that too.
For now, bear with me.
