Because the Rovers like to do weird and sometimes geeky things, it made perfect sense to fuse childhood memory and Internet pop culture into a single event…which saw the old board game "Hero Quest" transformed into "TROGDOR! Quest" (yes, of Homestar Runner fame).
You had to be there. But I did have fun taking pictures.
Playing around in Picnik for this shot as well; it’s a combination of the colour boosting effect and the softening effect, with some vignetting and a rounded border added in for effect.
Okay, granted, the TROGDOR! model we were using was kind of cribbed together from a bunch of other, non-Homestar-related sources. It still worked, kind of.
