I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned my current photo-shooting method, which makes use of the RAW+JPEG mode on the EOS 350D. Lightroom imports the RAW images in colour, so I keep the JPEG mode set on black and white, in effect creating monochromatic "shadow copies" of each picture I take.

I think I must have mentioned that before. If not…well…at any rate, sometimes I find I like the black and white image more than the colour photo. This picture, of Grace’s dad holding Ella, is one of those occasions.

Ella, of course, can’t be bothered to hold still, although the "chewing my finger" expression is pretty cute.
