Helo’s still a contender!
This is interesting. It’s a new promo for the upcoming second half of Battlestar Galactica’s fourth and final season, and it concerns the final Cylon (as yet unrevealed on the show).
Notably, Tahmoh Penikett’s character — Karl Agathon (callsign: Helo) — is featured in the montage, sandwiched between Anastasia Dualla and Laura Roslin.
Which would seem to indicate, subtly, that some kind of reversal has taken place, given a previous statement made by Ron Moore which would seem to discredit Helo as a possibility. But I’m on record as being suspicious of just how honest Ron Moore was being in his comments about the “Last Supper” photograph.
There was already tacit evidence presented, in the last episode of the season’s front half, that Helo might be the one, after all. And now this little tidbit. Yes, it could just be the network’s advertising department messing things up a bit…but somehow, I get the sense that this message is “Ron Moore” approved.
In which case, it thrusts Helo back into the light of suspicion, officially.
